The protected area extends from 412 to 2,565 m in altitude and protects broadleaf and conifer forests, rock walls and watercourses. The park is home to exceptional biodiversity, with chamois, deer, foxes, marmots, badgers and large predators such as bear, lynx and wolf. Hundreds of paths, mule tracks and via ferratas let you discover the territory. Some routes, such as the Val Falcina Nature Trail, are easy educational loops with information panels, suitable for families.
The house is also close to Feltre, a lively medieval town. Here you can stroll among the walls and decorated squares, visit museums, attend events such as the Palio di Feltre and the Giro delle Mura, or take the green Miesna Path for a walk in nature. In summer, visitors can take part in cycling races such as the Sportful Dolomiti Race or explore the Vincheto nature reserve, home to mouflons, deer and birds.
